This Privacy Policy explains how ToolFree ("we", "us", "ToolFree") handles information when you visit toolfree.eu.cc (the "Site"). We built ToolFree around a simple principle: the files you convert are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.

1. Files you convert

Every conversion tool on this Site — including the image converter, image compressor, PDF merge, PDF to images, CSV/JSON converter, and Base64 converter — runs using client-side JavaScript. When you select or drop a file into a tool, it is read into your browser's memory, processed there, and made available to you as a direct download. We do not receive, store, view, or transmit the contents of any file you convert.

2. Information we do collect

Like most websites, we may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, such as:

  • Browser type and version, device type, and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent on the Site, and referring URLs
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (country/region level)

This information is used to understand how the Site is used and to keep it running reliably. It is not linked to the files you convert, because those files never reach us.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember basic preferences and to support advertising, described below. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so should not affect your ability to use the conversion tools, since they run independently of any server-side session.

5. Third-party libraries loaded from a CDN

Some tools load open-source libraries (such as pdf-lib and PDF.js) from a public content delivery network to keep the Site fast and lightweight. These requests may be visible to the CDN provider in the same way any web request is, but do not include the contents of your files.

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
