FAQ
About the Image Compressor
What quality setting should I use?
60–80% gives a good balance between file size and visual quality for most photos. Go higher for images with fine text or detail.
Does this work on PNG files?
PNG inputs are re-encoded as JPG during compression to take advantage of the quality slider, since standard PNG has no adjustable quality setting.
